TSJCL Beyond Convention

The TSJCL Beyond Convention is here, y’all!

TSJCL Beyond convention is a program to carry TSJCL's community, morale, opportunities, and academic engagement "beyond convention" by offering events and activities each month. Each month will feature two or three academic contests. Only 3 of the contests are synchronous.

The dates for the academic contests are as follows:

  • 9/25 - Latin and Greek Derivatives - Quizizz

  • 10/25 - Classical Art - Kahoot!; Mottoes, Abbreviations, and Quotations - Gimkit; Geography and Monuments - Socrative

  • 11/12 - Greek Life and Lit - Socrative; Roman Life - Kahoot!

  • 12/7 - Latin Lit - Quizizz; Mythology - Socrative

  • 1/14 - Roman and Greek History - Kahoot! (live session!)

  • 2/1 - Vocabulary - Gimkit

  • 2/11 - Reading Comp and Grammar - Gimkit (live session!)

  • 3/25 - Webinar about reminders and tips and tricks for state! (live session!)
